Orietta,
The analogy of being a new kid at school really hit home since we have to give up a part of our ego to learn where to go, the ins-and-outs, etc at school.
I have anjoyed reading your articles as they have been positive with a twist humor to get through the rough spots and I have also have learned a lot from reading them.

Keep writing!!

Thank you for the comments.

Antonio -- this sense of feeling alone and yet finding that I have friends and family who are standing by me during this tumultuous process, mean the world. And like those friends we made back in the school yard, they are helping us get through the rough spots ..and we are that much luckier for it.

Israel - you touch on the crux ... it is not just about getting that connection, it is taking it and making them an important piece of the puzzle which is this job search. There are so many who have found that true sense of altruism, and they are indeed paying forward. Good Stuff!

Give the best of yourself expecting nothing and it will came 5 times bigger! Social Media isn't about noise and lazyness, it's about conversation, hard-work, build trust and leverage the social values. You'll always find people ready to help you, as you are always ready to help.

Bravo Orietta

Best,

Oreitta, another home run! I especially like the school yard analogy! Thank you for putting into words the many feelings and emotions we are all experiencing at one point or another during these uncertain times.
A new year with new hopes and more opportunities to achieve.
