Kevin Donlin Simple Job Search Manifesto's a Good Resource
A week back I published Kevin Donlin’s article “Three Simple Job Search Ideas from Stuff Going on Right Around You.” I started looking around his blog and found a FREE downloadable e-book called “The Simple Job Search Manifesto.” I figured if I’m publishing his story I might as well learn a little bit more about what the guy does.
I’m really glad I did. This 65 page e-book contains a well organized plan for getting yourself back to work. It covers choosing your ideal job, finding the ideal employer, writing sales letters instead of cover letters and a whole bunch of other steps to make sure you do the right stuff to get you in job hunt high gear.
If you go to Kevin’s Simple Job Search Manifesto page and scroll down a bit, you’ll see a simple for to fill out and have the e-book sent to you via email.
Note: The Manifesto is a FREE download. However, in order to comply with a new U.S. law that requires bloggers to disclose when they are getting paid to sell something I have to information you that if you actually buy one of the items Kevin sells off his website, Career Jockey gets a commissiosn that is barely enough to keep this site running, much less put food on the table, pay the power bill or justify my leaving my day job.
I just found another one of Kevin’s resources, “Guerrilla Job Search Secrets.” It’s an audio CD. I haven’t listened that one yet, but hope to do so in the coming weeks. I’ve included a video below where Kevin and David Perry the co-author of “Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters 2.0: 1,001 Unconventional Tips, Tricks and Tactics for Landing Your Dream Job” talk about “their guerilla job search solutions” on a Wall Street Journal Career program. It tells you a little more about their programs.
Here’s the standard info on Kevin an his Guerilla Resume offers.
Kevin Donlin is co-author of Guerrilla Resumes. Since 1996, he has provided
job-search help to more than 20,000 people. Kevin has been interviewed by
The New York Times, Fox News, ABC TV, CBS Radio and others. To learn how you
can quickly create your own Guerrilla Resume, visit Kevin’s Guerilla Resume site.
If you have read or heard from others about these programs, please write me a comment. I’d like to see what others think about these resources so other benefit from your thought.s
Hope this helps.
