Nice post. I worked for many years as a head hunter and absolutely agree - although looking for a job may make many feel lost and a bit out of control, the journey itself really can be very enlightening and many job seekers find new aspects of themselves during the journey and end up taking a job or finding a career they wouldn't have considered before and being much happier for it.

It can really be a chance to get to know yourself better and re-arrange your priorities.

Very honored to have the author commenting on my site. I ordered myself a copy off Amazon this afternoon and will read it as soon as it arrives. Don't be surprised I'm reading a chick book. I live with four women at home. I'm even a "Desperate Housewives" fan. Go figure.

Please stay in touch.

Thanks, Jorge, for the mention. I, too, am a big fan of Mr. Bolles's Parachute books and am flattered to be mentioned in the same sentence with them.

Hope you enjoy the book (let me know!)
